BOOK UPDATE
Totally Desperate Mom: Keepin' it Real in the Motherhood is now available. It will be available on Kindle (on Amazon) in early August.
People are actually reading this book and liking it. Here is the latest email I received from a Totally Desperate Mom reader.

Finally, you've put into words the motherhood experience that no one writes about. WENDY'S UPCOMING EVENTS
The book-launch party was a huge success. You can check out some pics over at my blog. The kids enjoyed watching the bunnies "give each other piggy back rides" in the petting zoo and there was a constant line in the bookstore. It was great to see so many old and new friends and some strangers too.
My next speaking engagement is at The Father's House in Vacaville, CA. I will be there Friday night, August 27th speaking at their women's fall kick-off event. If you live nearby and you call yourself a woman, come join the fun. I will be reciting Haiku and teaching the world my 14 month potty-training method. Or something like that.
I am currently finalizing my Southern California book/speaking tour for the fall of 2010. Please contact me if you are interested in having me speak at your church or women's event! I am almost completely booked up for 2010 and will be speaking a limited number of times in 2011. After all, I still have (and want) my day job.
